This is the 100th meeting of MVMUA, and our 25th anniversary! In honor of the occasion we're planning to celebrate our history with VM and the future of VM and MVMUA.

Ying Chu, director of IBM S/390 VM and VSE Business Unit, will join us for the celebration and will present on her plans for VM. In addition we hope to have some long-time friends of VM and MVMUA present sessions on VM technologies, stories, and opportunities.

Since this is a special occasion, we will be hosting lunch and providing special gifts to attendees. It is essential that you RSVP so we can reserve space (and seating will be limited) and make arrangements for any special dietary requirements. Only 3 people from each site, please! You can RSVP to either Bill Munson (212-736-4433 ex. 3298) at bill_munson@ibi.com or Jeff Savit (212-236-5813) at txjeff@vmeth5.ossd.gis.ml.com.

Due to the holiday the day after the MVMUA meeting, we are planning to have most of our activities in the morning, followed by lunch and giving out the MVMUA-branded gifts. Members should feel free to leave early in the afternoon after having shared in the celebration of 25 years.

We hope to see you there,

Bill Munson, President
