is being rescheduled. The new meeting date is now TUESDAY, February 11, 1997.
This is a break from our traditional Monday meeting.
Happy New Year, and welcome to our first meeting of 1997!
As we've done a number of times in the past, we're kicking off the
year with a keynote session from the manager of the VM organization,
who will give IBM's perspective on how VM is positioned in the
marketplace and the developments planned for it. With our continued
emphasis on the web and open systems, we also have a talk on the
latest version of TCP/IP for VM, and sessions on real-life VM-based
Web applications at two of the best known names on Wall Street. Not
wanting to neglect core VM technology, we also have a vendor
presentation on enhanced SFS security. It looks like an exciting and
valuable meeting, and I look forward to seeing you there!.
