LINUX on S/390
by Romney White of IBM's VM Development organization.
There has been a lot of talk and mailing list activity
related to running LINUX on System/390 hardware.
This intriguing concept is explored and some of the
implications of this idea are examined. In addition,
recent availability of patches to linux that allow it
to run on S/390 will be explained and some experience
using LINUX on S/390 will be described.
Romney is involved in projects related to VM, TCP/IP
and LINUX. He has spoken at SHARE and MVMUA many times.

our old habit of giving a book away at the meeting.
