This is the 156th meeting of MVMUA, and our 40th anniversary! In honor of the occasion we're planning to celebrate our history with VM and the future of z/VM and MVMUA.
We hope to have some long-time friends of VM and MVMUA attend. There will be talks about z/VM technologies, some fun stories, and maybe some future opportunities.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided by VICOM Infinity, I heard a rumor of CAKE. MVMUA will also be providing special gifts to attendees. It is essential that you RSVP so we can reserve space (seating will be limited) and make arrangements for any special requirements. David will give an update on how his architecture for zvm620 is working in ongoing z/VM620 situations. The highlights of the architecture will be discussed along with the real shop use of the architecture. Deployment and operational strategies will be discussed along with lessons learned.

An informative view filled with anecdotes complete with war stories and peace time events of my 30+ years in the great VM operating system. My journey through operations, systems programming, training and Linux will be discussed showing VM's adaptability and flexibility in providing end user solutions. There will be a lot of interactive discussion. We will have plenty of time for other participants that want to share any stories, good or bad.
